On a personal Note -The Readers Digest version of me:
I was born in Goshen, New York (I am the middle daughter and one of 4
children). A few years later my family moved to a small town in Sussex County, New
Jersey.
Although this area is known as the “snow-belt” (due to the high
mountains surrounding the area and the three local ski resorts), it certainly
provided a wonderful but somewhat sheltered childhood. I was anxious to see more of life and wanted
to move to the city. After graduation from
Sussex County Vocational Technical High School (located in Sparta Township, New
Jersey) in 1977, I moved to Alexandria, Virginia where I began my career
path. I have held positions in; Retail
Sales, Banking, Insurance, a Research Institute, and a Commercial
Contractor. Next, for ten years I was
an Executive Officer of Finance & Administration with a national
Advertising Company. I went on to
accept positions as Controller and then Budget Administrator for the AFL-CIO and it's affiliates in Washington, D.C.
One year
after the birth of my only child (Josh), I moved from Alexandria to Lake Ridge
(Prince William County) where I purchased my first property in 1986. The Real Estate profession fascinated me as
it encompassed my experience in sales and acquisitions, negotiations, finance,
insurance, research and advertising. The
people skills, I like to think they come naturally J. So, I took classes, studied hard and passed
my Real Estate state and national exams.
In June of 1994, I became a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Virginia. I hung my
license from Prince William Association of Realtors (PWAR) with Long &
Foster where I earned Rookie of the Year award in 1995. In April 1997, I moved to the Woodbridge office of
Weichert Realtors. In August 2000, I joined over 100 other agents at the
Woodbridge Jobin Realty office. I have
achieved several plaques for recognition in the Million Dollar Club
(Individual), Top Producers Award (Individual) and as Jobin Realty's Top 10
Producers in 2004 and #1 Top Producer in 2005 (Woodbridge Office) over my now
24+year career as a Realtor. It was my
pleasure to be asked by my then Broker to move my license along with her and
most our office over to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty in
February 2016. My Broker's Office is
still located in Manassas at 9100 Church Street #107 – Manassas, Virginia
20110, just now under the BHHS PenFed Realty shingle/logo. I found my professional niche in
life and it would be my pleasure to assist you with your real estate needs.
